Yesterday I had what one would call a “bad diabetes day.” I woke up completely nauseous, did not want to get out of bed, had no energy, but trucked along and came to work anyway. Why, you ask? Because I knew it was my good friend, Type 1, playing with me. Guess what? By 10am, I felt completely fine, the nausea went away, and it was like nothing happened.
Makes sense to you, right? No? Well, me neither; but again, just like last week’s infusion site change, this is just another typical day in the life of a Type I diabetic.
